Good times with Uncle Dan and Aunt Jill – exploring markets, buying fabric for new suits and dresses, trying new Thai dishes, a trip to Chiang Dao for another overnight at the nest, an epic jungle trek that involved some off trail adventures and a sweaty, muddy crew.
On Monday, Dan and Lou were off to a cooking class, Jill and I are had Thai spa treatments, and the kids begin their last week of school! Thursday is the final half day of school and we’re having about 40 kids over to our house for and end of year basketball, swimming, pizza and ice cream going away party for the kids. Dan and Jill are here till Saturday and we’ll spend our last night together at the Eackachai Houseboats. We still have our adventure in China to go (June 9-19 in Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and Tiger Leaping Gorge) and then we have a week to wrap things up here in Chiang Mai before flying home on June 26. We are getting excited to see you all!
Here’s some random pics of the past few days.
